In the WWAATTEERR series, two or more recordings of water composited so that you see all layers at once. The water in this exhibition was shot in the lockdown period of 2020 in Newburgh NY.

Water attracts me with its eternal change and constant beauty. No instant is repeated or static. The WWAATTEERR series manipulates its raw visual material with the layering, and also slow motion and colorizing, to make something you’ve never seen before, that doesn’t exist in the world, which is one of the tasks of art. But I hope you can stop and watch the real water sometime, wherever you are, and see it again. “No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man.” – Heraclitus
